Legal-expenses insurance
Insurance covering the cost of legal assistance — such as lawyer and expert fees — when recovering personal-injury damage from a liable party.
Regres
Recourse (regres)
The right of a party (such as an insurer or the UWV) to recover costs it has compensated to a victim from the liable party.
Rekenrente
Discount rate (rekenrente)
The discount rate is the interest percentage used to convert future damage into a present lump sum (capitalisation).
